Geometric but organic all at once…

The Facet Vase is wheel thrown and then sliced into shape. The cut sides reflect the light and as the cuts curve around the form they reveal a lovely shape.

Measures approx. 11.5cm wide x 16cm tall.

This Facet Vase is finished in my Pink glaze - a glossy, almost opaque finish that breaks to white over the sliced edges. One of the sides of the vase shows some green tinge-ing - a serendipitous result of being fired next to a pot with a high copper content.
