Process notes
This cup was wheel thrown from 100% recycled stoneware with a fine grit addition, resulting in a robust clay body with a softly speckled appearance. Clay was sliced off using a humble potato peeler and potter’s knife to create a geometric, faceted form. The cup is finished in a glossy clear glaze, making it lovely and smooth to hold.
